    Welcome

We are proud to have a large, inclusive ladies’ section with members of all ages, abilities and experience. They enjoy spending time together, playing our fantastic course and socialising in the clubhouse.

We offer something for everyone: fun and serious competitions, matches, coaching and social events.

We’re flexible. Most of our competitions can be entered on Tuesdays or Sundays, to suit members with work, family or educational commitments.

    New to golf?

We warmly welcome beginners. Our buddy scheme helps newbies get involved and make friends by introducing them to other players of similar ability.

We offer regular group coaching with one of the club professionals. Women and girls of all abilities are encouraged to take part in our fun competitions and progress to more competitive golf, including inter-club friendly and league matches

    Keen on competition?

We are the only club in Norfolk to have three league teams and two scratch league teams, playing inter-club county competitions, as well as players who represent Eaton at county, regional and national level.

    Women in Golf Charter

We are delighted to be a signatory of the R&A’s Women in Golf Charter and we are working towards commitments to develop women and girls’ golf. The charter aims to:

    • Encourage more women and girls to play the game and join a golf club
    • Inspire more families to enjoy golf as a group leisure activity
    • Open up more opportunities for women to work within the golf industry

    Please get in touch

We’d love to hear from you if you would like to find out what we offer women and girls. To chat to one of the committee members or to join the club.

We welcome entries to this year’s Am-Am on Thursday 5th October, please click here for more details and to enter.

  • Vets

    Membership

‘Eaton Vets’ is a Section of Eaton Golf Club (EGC) that is open to all male golfers at Eaton, who are aged 55 and over and hold a current handicap under the World Handicap System. So, if you are eligible and haven’t already signed up to be a member of Eaton Vets for the coming year, why not take this opportunity to do so?

It will only cost you £5.00. A real bargain, as you will more than get this back later in the year – in the form of an excellent Full English Breakfast, provided only that you play in the premier Eaton Vets Trophy Competition, The Pheysey Cup, &/or attend the AGM later that day. Generally membership commences in the October, following the AGM. However, if you are a new Eaton Golf Club member or recently ‘come of age’, please get in touch.

    How To Join

Simply complete the short Eaton Vets’ Membership Application and hand this to Sarah in the main office together with your £5.00.
Being a member of Eaton Vets will not in any way change your status as a member of Eaton Golf Club. You will, however, be warmly welcomed into a group of more than 130 Eaton members who enjoy competitive golf amongst themselves and against other leading Clubs in Norfolk.

    Our Activities

You can look forward to participating in a full summer season of Home & Away fixtures with our partner clubs. Between March & September there are 32 competitive matches, all of which are played in a ‘Four Ball, Better Ball’ Match Play format.
In addition, you can compete for the three Eaton Vets’ Trophy Competitions, The Pinching Tankard, The Colin Clark Memorial Trophy & The Pheysey Cup.
What’s more, you can enjoy the very popular annual Eaton Vets’ Christmas Dinner to which Wives/Partners are, of course, cordially invited.

    Newsletter & Regular E-mail Updates

In February each year, you will receive a Newsletter from the Eaton Vets Captain accompanied by a Fixture List. This will be followed by regular updates about upcoming Eaton Vets Inter-Club Matches & Trophy Competitions.

    The Eaton Vets Committee

The numerous Inter-Club Matches and Trophy Competitions do not, of course, just happen. Not only do we rely upon your support, as an Eaton Vets’ Member, but also upon the efforts behind the scenes of our Committee.
Our current Eaton Vets Committee Members are:

    Captain
    David Kelly [email protected]

    Vice-Captain
    Richard Nichols [email protected]

    Treasurer
    Alan Loughlin [email protected]

    Past Captain
    Ian Gorst [email protected]

If you would like to serve on the Committee, perhaps with a view to standing for election as next year’s Vice-Captain, simply contact our Eaton Vets Captain.

    AGM

Traditionally, the Eaton Vets AGM takes place immediately following the playing of The Pheysey Cup. The AGM receives a Captain’s and a Treasurer’s Report, and officers are elected for the following year. Remember, your reward for attending the AGM is an excellent (‘free’) Full English Breakfast.
